Ryakin Rip, music producer to the stars, has joined forces with the talented and charismatic, Darcy Donavan, to create an album that is irrevocably unmatched by their predecessors and peers. Darcy had stepped out of the world of music after losing her grandfather to cancer.The loss of her biggest and most beloved fan was a massive blow to her passion for singing and performing live on stage.Even though she hadn’t released an album since she was a kid, Darcy never lost site of her dreams and after her tragic loss, branched out into the fields of acting and modeling. As an entertainment icon, breaching music to film and print, Darcy has soared in the industry, building an enormous fan base along the way.
While Darcy created herself as a multi-threat in the entertainment industry, Ryakin was honing his ear and talents to become the hottest, hit music producer to grace the airwaves, matching and even surpassing many of the music industries top acts including the Neptunes, Dr. Dre, and Timbaland. As a young student, Ryakin studied, grew and finessed his valuable and scene breaking new skills under well known producer, Pascal Volberg.While there, he assisted on various projects with such hot names as Aaliyah, Rodney Jerkins, Jill Scott, Korrupt and other famous artists.
He then went on to join forces with another local rapper to form a politically charged hip hop duo. Rip produced beats, delivered his flow, mixed and mastered their first hit CD which became a raging success in the underground circuit. The success of the CD, lead the group to tour the US, Canada and share the stage with the likes of Dead Prez, KRS-One, Mos Def, Talib Kwali, and other of hip hop finest artists.
After returning home, Rip headed for Los Angeles to further pursue his music career as a full time producer, creating albums for top name artists and commercial works, including a jingle for the automotive superpower, Ford.
