Nashville Knockout Darcy Donavan Dazzles, Turns Heads in Hollywood
We may be in the midst of the fall season, but Darcy Donavan is on the rise. The multi-talented Nashville native with all of her beauty pageant titles and stunning "girl-next-door" persona is making waves on the west coast. She is coming fresh off a press party with Bench Warmer with whom she will sport her very own trading card along with the likes of Gina Lee Nolin, Shauna Sand, and Tracy Bingham. Darcy is excited about a forthcoming mutual endorsement involving a state-of-the-art fitness program. She will be working alongside another Nashville native, Matt Poe, president of Matt Poe Program Designs and Professional Athlete Development. A University of Tennessee graduate with a football championship ring, Matt is one of the nation's leading fitness gurus and his expertise in speed development has been utilized by the NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA. Darcy will represent Matt's company, Maximum Fit, as its fitness spokes model. Her likeness will appear on company sports apparel and plans are in the works for an info-mercial in which Darcy will lead an instructional workout. Thigh-busters will never be the same.

Darcy's acting skills have been on full display lately as well. In television, she was seen playing a personal trainer on USA Studios Network's "Dragnet" series. She made an appearance on the season finale for Comedy Central's "The Man Show". MTV's "Ultimate Revenge" with host Ryan Seacrest of American Idol featured Darcy playing a secretary and an "inexperienced" bowler (she actually is a good bowler). Darcy was a recent guest on the show, discussing issues surrounding romance and relationships....from a woman's perspective. Also, the versatile Darcy has been a long-time player on NBC's daytime drama "Passions" and will continue her work on the series.

Darcy's dreams of the silver screen are coming into focus. She recently was cast as a Playboy Bunny in Miramax's "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind", directed by George Clooney.

She appeared in "Ride or Die", a P.M. Entertainment production which stars Vivica A. Fox. Regarding music videos, a realm not new to Darcy, she's the leading lady in "Be The One", brand new from the Aussie group "Lucky Seven". She has also appeared in television commercials for 7 UP, Wrigley's gum, and American Airlines. Among all of this, she still finds time to represent as a spokes model for companies such as Atari and Seagram's. She graced the inside of the steamy "Girls of Seagram's calendar.
As the demand for Darcy's talents increases, so does her fan base. Darcy's beauty and elegance are becoming firmly etched in the hearts and minds of just about everyone. The increasing demand for her unique blends of talents and chameleon looks has brought her some serious exposure. This will make Darcy Donavan hard to miss for movie goers and television watchers everywhere.
Many of you saw Darcy in the role of "Beautiful Pool Girl" in the big screen comedy "Tomcats", which also starred Jerry O'Connell and Shannon Elizabeth.

Darcy also played a mobster's girlfriend alongside Robert DeNiro in the film "Showtime".

Ms. Donavan concluded her motion picture work for 2001 as she was cast in "Peroxide Blonde", starring Krista Allen.
The lovely Darcy has made a multitude of appearances on some big time television commercials. She is shown alongside the flamboyant Carrot top in several of the "1-800-DIAL-ATT" advertisements. Most recently, she served as a stand-in for the former "Baywatch" babe Jenny McCarthy in a brand new Comp-USA commercial. Also, be watching for Darcy in a forthcoming promotion for American Airlines.
The ever-versatile Darcy performed in a variety of stylish young-adult-oriented prime time programs. She starred in a recently aired episode of the game show "Street Smarts". A battle of the sexes was waged as Darcy in dramatic fashion defeated her adversary when she correctly answered the game's final question! The "television dating" circuit continues to increase in popularity and Darcy has made her rounds there as well. She certainly made the day for one very lucky young man when she was chosen as a "date" for the up and coming "Rendeview". For all of you who watched the recently aired Elvira Halloween special, you may have thought that was Nicole Kidman alongside the Mistress of the Dark. That was actually the talented Ms. Donavan impersonating Ms. Kidman and showing off her very polished Australian accent. Darcy continues to receive international exposure as well. She was chosen, along with "Coolio" and members of the band "Travis", to be interviewed on an episode of "L.A. Pool Party", an especially popular show in Great Britain where social, domestic, and world issues are hot topics of discussion. Darcy's work on N.B.C.'s soap "Passions" continues. She can be seen playing a variety of roles.
In the midst of her busy schedule as an actress, Darcy Donavan shines brighter than ever as a model. She will grace the pages of Seagram's calendar as one of their sexy models.
