Music Labels Go Crazy Over Buzz Of New Popstar

Los Angeles, CA. (Top40 Charts/ CelebrityMPress) - Move over Diddy, Madonna, and Britney, there is a new emerging Superstar on the horizon. This artists name is Darcy Donavan. We have to be honest, our undercover sources here at CelebrityMPress didn't know what to expect when they went to see this young entertainer perform. We were thinking this was just another hot blonde cookie cutter diva, or a recycled Madonna.
However, we were pleasantly surprised to see quite the opposite. Ms. Donavan's stage presence was grabbing from beginning to end. Watching the reaction from the crowd around us, we weren't the only ones getting into her performance. During her show, a young fan desperately tried to get on stage with her. Yet before this gentleman had an opportunity, security quickly swept in and escorted him away. With everything going on, Ms. Donavan, still did not miss a beat and the show continued on.
Throughout the show as we looked around to see the reaction from other people in the crowd, we noticed numerous A&R reps from some of the most recognized labels in the industry. It seemed we weren't the only ones interested in this hot new artist. Notes were being taken, heads were bobbing and we could see the look in their eyes of what we could only imagine as money rolling in
After the show, we caught up with her publicist, Mr. Nelson, as we tried to get an interview with Ms. Donavan before she headed off to her next city. What is going on with her? Is she signed yet, and if no, why not?
As he continued walking to his car, Mr. Nelson stated: 'We are currently looking at all the offers that have been rolling in, yet we have a few labels that we are looking very strongly at. We want to make sure that the offers that come in have Ms. Donavan's best interests at heart. We feel that Ms. Donavan isn't just another artist, we see an icon in the making.' Our reporter, entertained by the comments made by Mr. Nelson, snickered to himself as he thought of many an artist in the past who had tried to achieve this state in the business, and so few that had succeeded. We will continue to follow her career to see if she is just another flash in the pan or if she will be someone to be remembered throughout history as an entertainment icon.
