When snack time rolls around, do you have a hard time knowing when to say when?
Then your challenge is to drink water before you start eating. Drinking 8 ounces of water will fill up your stomach so that when you're done with your snack you'll be full enough that you won't be begging for more.
Another benefit of drinking water is that you can burn a few extra calories. A recent study showed that drinking half a liter of water briefly raised participants' metabolisms, causing them to burn 25 extra calories. YEAH!!!!
I have a hard time remembering to drink my 8 glasses a day and some of the people that work for me as well. One idea is to get a plastic 8 oz. cup (you could buy a bunch at the dollar or 99 cent store if you are on a budget) and mark off with a permanet marker on the cup each time you drink a full glass. Hey, it works for me especially when I have photoshoots or magazine shoots it helps everytime.
Track and really see how much water you actually drink a day and I think you would be surprised.
